Welcome to GoPass!
Introducing the GoPass Program.
Foothill Transit and LA Metro have partnered with participating schools to offer students a GoPass with unlimited free rides on Foothill Transit local lines and Silver Streak, LA Metro bus and rail, Big Blue Bus, Montebello Bus, Norwalk Transit, Culver CityBus, and City of Commerce. As part of the GoPass program, you can ride for free during each semester that you register for the program. Find out more at metro.net/gopass.
Use a virtual TAP card on your phone with the TAP App or a TAP sticker on your school ID. Then, follow the instructions below. Your school will give you a unique registration code.
Your card must be registered before you can use it to ride for free.
Ready to ride? Here’s how to get your GoPass. If you're at Citrus College or Mt. SAC, click on your school to see specific details.
Get your GoPass.
Go to taptogo.net/gopass and click “Register your TAP card”.
Enter the requested information, including your TAP card number (the 20-digit number on the back of the card, starting with 0170-) and the unique registration code provided by your school. Your card will not work until it is registered.
After you click submit, wait 4 hours for your pass to be activated.
Use your GoPass within 90 days, or your pass will not be activated. You must tap every time you ride.
Ride for free on participating transit agencies for the duration of the academic term. You will need to register your card using a new unique registration code every academic term to keep your GoPass active.
If your TAP card or sticker is lost or stolen, contact your school administration for a replacement one. Then, come back to taptogo.net/gopass to activate your new card. Your original TAP card will be deactivated.
Please help keep transit safe and comfortable for everyone. Before you ride with an agency, visit their website to read their code of conduct and other expectations.
For issues or problems registering your card, call 1-866-TAP-TOGO (827-8646).
You are now ready to ride all over Los Angeles County with your GoPass!
