Monday, July 3
We proposed cancelling Line 499 because of the closure of the San Dimas Park & Ride. You said no! So Line 499 now starts at the Via Verde Park & Ride.
Monday, July 10
You can now connect to Lines 190, 194, 289, 480, and 486 from a convenient stop right on the Mt. SAC campus. The center has shaded shelters, comfortable seating, and attractive landscaping. The new transit center is located near Temple Ave. at the end of the new pedestrian footbridge, between buildings 27C and 69.
Sunday, July 16
Line 188 has some small timing changes to fine tune the schedule.
Line 488 has some small timing changes to fine tune the schedule.
The Silver Streak has some small timing changes to fine tune the schedule.
Due to low ridership, we are cancelling Line
851. Many stops will still be served by Lines 284 and 482.
Line 851 is a school-oriented route, connecting Royal
Oak Intermediate School, Charter Oak High School,
Arrow High School, and Glendora High School with two morning trips in each direction and three afternoon
trips. Line 851 serves an average of just
over 2 customers per trip throughout the day. The
maximum ridership 4 customers at a time.
Sunday, July 30
Due to low ridership, we are cancelling Line 854. Many stops will still be served by Line 853.
Lines 853 and 854 both provide service to Diamond Ranch High School with overlapping routes.
Sunday, October 29
These changes will happen on October 29.
Line 190: Every trip will serve all stops. There won't be any more "short" trips. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 194: Every trip will serve all stops. There won't be any more "short" trips. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 195: Corporate Center loop service will end and the route will extend to serve Country Rd. Use Line 482 for service on S Campus Dr. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 272: The northern part of the route will extend to Mountain Vista Plaza. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 274: Line 274 will end at Plaza West Covina instead of the Baldwin Park Metrolink Station. Line 178 continues to connect West Covina to the Baldwin Park Metrolink Station. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 281: The southbound trips will stay on Citrus Ave instead of stopping inside the Covina Transit Center. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 282: Line 282 will continue without changes.
Line 286: Line 286 will continue without changes.
Line 291: The southern end will serve Rancho Camino Dr instead of County Rd and Towne Ave. Line 195 will still serve Garey Ave and County Rd. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 292: The northern part will travel along Arrow Hwy instead of Foothill Blvd. Line 188 continues to serve Foothill Blvd. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 482: Line 482 will no longer serve stops along Brea Canyon Rd or the Corporate Center Dr loop. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 486: The route will extend to the Pomona Transit Center. View the 10/29 schedule.
Line 498: Line 498 will no longer serve the Industry City Hall Park & Ride and the stop at Vincent Ave and Lakes Dr. The line will start at West Covina City Hall stop. View the 10/29 schedule.
Lines 860 and 861: Service on Line 860 will end. Line 861 will travel along Royal Oaks Dr, and service to Huntington Dr and the stops north of Royal Oaks Dr will end. Line 272 will now serve some of the stops on Buena Vista St. Line 187 continues to serve Huntington Dr. View the 10/29 schedule.
Silver Streak: The schedule is extended for the Cal Poly Pomona stop. Weekday times continue until about 9 p.m., and an extra morning eastbound time means another opportunity to get to campus by 8 a.m. View the 10/29 schedule.
Future Changes
Instead of creating a new Line 487, we'll cancel Line 197 and extend Line 289 to the Montclair Transit Center.
