Yes! The Class Pass began as a three-semester-long test program that measured the need for affordable transit options for La Verne students. It was a phenomenal success, and now the program is here to stay!
The TAP cards that Class Passes are loaded on will eventually expire. Your TAP Card could expire as soon as October 2016. All passes loaded onto the TAP Card will not work once it expires. Be sure to check yours today!
Checking the status of your TAP Card is easy, and you have several options.
• Visit the Registrar’s Office and ask when your TAP Card will expire.
• Visit your local Foothill Transit Store and ask a Customer Service Representative when your TAP Card will expire.
• Call 1-866-TAP-TO-GO (827-8646) to speak with a TAP representative to find out when your TAP Card will expire.
• Email customerservice@taptogo.net and a TAP representative will be able to assist you.
If your TAP Card is expiring or expired, you can transfer your Class Pass to a new TAP Card. First, you will need to purchase a new TAP Card for $2 at your local Transit Store location. Then, you can call TAP at the number above – 1-866-TAP-TO-GO (827-8646) – and let the representative know that you want to transfer your TAP Card balance. You’ll need to have both your expiring and new TAP Cards handy to complete the process. New TAP Cards are good for approximately ten years. Note: it may take up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed.
