Developer Resources
Foothill Transit makes all of our data and feeds available to the developer community, encouraging third-party developers to use this information to build apps that improve the riding experience for our customers and the community.
In order to access Foothill Transit’s GTFS-RT feed, please provide the public IPs and the name of your organization to info@foothilltransit.org. Once received, a confirmation email will be sent granting access to the data. By using the data, your organization will be bound to Foothill Transit’s Developer License Agreement.

Real Time GTFS
GTFS-real-time provides live alert, vehicle location, and arrival-prediction data in an industry-standard format. GTFS-real-time is best for retrieving data for the whole system at once in a relatively small package, but must be extrapolated using the agency’s static GTFS data to be meaningful.
