See us in the new Rose Parade Magazine!Posted December 12th, 2017
Here at Foothill Transit, we’ve always loved supporting our community. That’s why the Rose Parade is such a special time for us. For starters, it’s a huge event in Pasadena, which is a Foothill Transit member city served by one of our oldest lines – the 187. But what’s even cooler is that for each of the past four years, we’ve worked side-by-side with the Tournament of Roses to create an ad in the Rose Parade Magazine that celebrates the accomplishments of the newly crowned Rose Queen.
And this year’s queen, Isabella Marez, gave us plenty to celebrate. She’s a student, a two-sport varsity athlete, a volunteer at the LA Children’s Hospital, and a participant in organizations like Support Our Troops Club, Key Club and the National Arts Society. The Rose Queen is supposed to be a strong leader who makes a difference and stands out from the crowd, and Isabella certainly is that.
We were so excited to meet her, in fact, that we decided to have whole bunch of Foothill Transit employees join in on this year’s photo shoot fun! Bus operators, facilitators, operations workers, administrators and even some board members posed with Isabella, connected over our shared love of making a positive impact on the community, and worked together to create one of our favorite Rose Parade ads yet!
Take a look at these behind-the-scenes photos to see what a fun day we had. And be sure to look for our fully produced Foothill Transit ad in this year’s Rose Parade Magazine.
The photographers got a little help from this very tall friend to capture the special bird’s eye view used in our ad.
