See the Mini Bus!

Posted November 8th, 2018

The Foothill Transit miniature bus will participate in local holiday parades.

Did you know there is a miniature version of the Foothill Transit bus you see every day? It’s actually a small electric cart (like a golf cart) that has been designed and painted to look like one of our buses.

Our mini bus is a great way to connect with people in the community — especially children! We use it for local events, to get the word out about programs we offer (like the Class Pass at some local colleges), and in parades.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to see the mini bus for yourself this month. Even better, we’ve decorated it especially for the holidays! Come to one of these upcoming parades, and you’ll see Foothill Transit staff members driving the bus, with plenty of people from the local community sharing in the fun.

Remember that these parades can cause our big buses to detour from their regular routes, so check our Rider Alerts page when you’re planning your trip. You can even sign up to get the Rider Alerts you need sent to you by email or text.

Make sure to share your pictures with us at #foothilltransit!
