Paying your fare and transferring is easy on Foothill Transit's newest lines.

Beginning Saturday, July 1, 2017, Foothill Transit will no longer accept Metro fare media (1-way trip, 1-day pass, 7-day pass, 30-day pass, tokens, etc.) on Lines 190, 194, and 270. Customers riding Lines 190, 194, and 270 can pay the regular local fare of $1.25 or purchase a Foothill Transit local 31-day bus pass for $70. Note: EZ transit passes will continue to be accepted on Lines 190, 194, and 270.

Using a TAP card to transfer

Transferring to Foothill Transit lines

Adult customers may purchase a $0.50 transfer and Senior/Disabled/Medicare customers may purchase a $0.25 transfer on board Lines 190, 194, and 270 to use on another Foothill Transit line. Transfers are valid for two hours. For more, visit our Transfer Policy page.

Transferring to Metro and Norwalk Transit lines

Customers that pay for the base fare with a TAP card will no longer be eligible for a free transfer (one-way trip) on the Metro system as of July 1, 2017. In addition, this will no longer be accepted as a free transfer on Foothill Transit Lines 190, 194 and 270, and Norwalk Transit Route 7. For transferring, please view our Transfer Policy.

Customers cannot ride the same line twice, regardless of the direction of travel.
